House Update!

Buying an older home is not for the weak... its for the CRAZY! And the crazy also decide to have more babies while making plans for house updates and remodels.

Recently we moved furniture around in our master bedroom and hung blackout shades on the FIVE windows. Here are a couple mid-progress photos.

 My idea, I started moving things before George came upstairs. 

New position of the bed. We had it on the wall where the couch is....
was not working with the room, this is so much better!

We still need to RE-paint the ceiling and purchase a new fan! But its progress and with the new rearrangement of the furniture, it feels bigger! If you can imagine!

The Days FLY So Fast....

Where does the time go? I always thought I was busy with work, then I had Claire. I thought I was pretty busy with a newborn, and then she grew to a toddler. Now, I am pregnant with Baby #2 and before I turn around I am 22 weeks along. However, I must say the first 12 weeks when by painfully slow. Wanted to update with a few pictures from our latest adventures.

Family Fun in Downtown!

Living in such a great neighborhood, we have started to make some really nice friends. Kari Keith, a neighbor down the street, is starting her own business, Kari Keith Photography. She took on the challenge of the Havrilla family and captured some great images in our very own Downtown Fort Worth.

Welcome!

Just a little story to get things started! Picture it. You are at mass and sitting quietly reflecting in prayer after communion. All of the Eucharistic ministers are finishing up and returning to their seats. Father is just about to sit down and from the second row several people hear, "BuhBye Jesus! BuhBYE!" - That would be our little Claire. Giving a little shout-out to tell Jesus she would see him later. We thought two weeks ago was pretty spontaneous, but when she did it again this last Sunday, we figure she has a grasp on the mass now!

Hope family and friends enjoy this little space. We plan to use it as we share the remodel of our home, the adventures of raising a family and a way to reach out and connect.  --- Nicole
